WHAT IS IMPACT IN PHILANTHROPY ?
It is touching lives in a positive manner that itself paves the way for growth. It is embracing the spiritual and cultural diversity that exist and turning them into strengths to encourage humanitarian work. It is the 'give and take' of respect and resources to reinstate dignity and hope. It is mutual appreciation of varied perspectives to help learn more about ourselves and others.
It is most of all, bringing about a change that will be resilient enough to create a chain reaction of encouragement and growth.
IS THERE EVEN A NEED?
The answer is simple. The rationale is complex. We all live an individual life yet, we are all connected. Purely as members of this one global village, despite all social, cultural, economic, political and personal diversities, we depend on each other. We learn from each other. We are keen on helping each other.
Even when there are the kindest of intentions, there are some basic hindrances like insufficiency of funds, difference of philosophy, lack of transparency, insufficient data, fear of sharing correct information , changes in the political environment, introduction of new regulations and policies etc. that do not allow the receipt of resources where it is most needed.
